Below is a sample of projects that have been recently completed or in the process of development:


MAJOR RAILWAY PROJECT - ZAMBIA


  • AYR Corporation has structured and initiated a $3 billion Rail project with the Government of Zambia to open up new Mining areas in the country.
  • AYR has invited CREC as a partner to developed this significant infrastructure which is securitised by having the first rights to any new mineral opportunities along the proposed rail.
  • CREC , China Rail International is the third largest civil construction enterprise in the world, and the Asian and Chinese largest railway, road and tunnel construction contractor.
  • AYR Corporation is working in several other African countries together with other Chinese companies in securing mining concessions in return for infrastructure.


MAPUTO BRIDGE, MOZAMBIQUE


A bridge between Maputo and Catembe is a prerequisite for growth and development of the bigger Maputo area as the current situation is impeding future growth and development.

The current ferry service is not sustainable and marine infrastructure has not been maintained and upgraded for a number of years.

The bridge will open land and development opportunities in the Catembe area, increased employment with the opening up for both industrial and tourism projects.


PONTO DO OURO TOLL ROAD, MOZAMBIQUE

Linking up with the Maputo Bridge is a toll road from Catembe to the resort town of Ponto do Ouro, which is situated near the South African border.

This road will open up the link with Richards Bay and provide access from to other East African States, such as Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia.


In addition this link will offer major tourism opportunities for Mozambique as it has pristine tropical beaches on this part of the coast


POWER PLANTS


Electrical Power generation facilities are integrated into a number of Ayr projects.
Projects such as metallurgical coking plants product large quantities of steam as a by-product of the coking process.
In these cases, power generation plants are provided to utilize this by-product and maximize the value added for the nation's raw material.

Currently power generation facilities are on the drawing board at three locations. A separate power plant has been discussed with Taishan near the new port. The port provides for easy access to high grade low sulphur coal which will provide much cleaner emissions from the proposed power facility
.

AFRICAN HALL OF FAME, SOUTH AFRICA
 

The African Hall of Fame will, upon completion, be what could be considered as the most prodigious, magnificent, historic, and the only hall of fame on the African continent established to honour, celebrate and pay homage to Africans and all those of African origin, both within the continent and in the Diaspora, who have made a significant contribution to the development of sport, music, film and the arts in Africa and around the world.

In addition to the Exhibition Hall the complex consists of other amities such as Recording Studios, 250 room Hotel and an Multi-purpose indoor stadium all surrounding a natural lake.


JIANG JUN SHAN THEME PARK., NANJING, CHINA
  

This park is one of the major tourist spots of Nanjing, China. The planned tourist land area is of 3km2, with natural reserves and interlinking lakes.

At present the site has a number of attractions such as picnic areas, stone carvings, boat rides, fishing and unique walking trails.


The project includes:

Arts and Crafts Precinct
5 Star Hotel with conference facilities
Art Museum and Gallery
Spa Resort


HAIDA INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CITY, HAINAN, CHINA
 

Located on Haidian Island in Haikou City, with a charming environment, the Park is within the same area as the Hainan University, which is an integral part of the coastal tourist zone of Haikou.

The Park will be connected to the city via the Century Bridge, which is the hub of commercial of finance & trade.

The Hainan Province is within close proximity to Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Quanzhou. These surrounding regions are IT and electronic hubs of China.

The site covers an area of 17 hectares, and the plan would be to build modern structures that blend with the natural beauty of the site.

The concept would be to create an enjoyable and pleasant working environment for software development and other related IT industries in accordance with international standards. The entire area is forested with tropical plants and well equipped with advanced municipal services.
