Stuart is a Chemist and holds BSc Dip Ed from UWA, Grad Dip Bus & Admin and Grad Dip Chem. Eng. Curtin University and Bachelor of Science degree from Curtin University.

Stuart’s 35 year experience in the power and energy sector is invaluable to providing a professional assessment of projects offered to Ayr Energy.

Early in his career, Stuart was a senior and chief scientist with the Sate Electricity Commission of Western Australia, the Bunbury Power Station and the Muja Power Station.

He later became the chief Chemist for Central Research and Development Laboratory (Generation Division) and thereafter took on a role as the superintendent and operations manager of the Kwinana Power station (Stage B).

He then took on a role as team leader for the commercial development generation for Western Power and thereafter work at the Collie Power Plant as the engineer for the Asset Management Collie Power station before becoming the Production Manager of the Plant.

The Current projects that Stuart is involve with include the construction of a 45MW Thermal Power Station North of Perth, construction of a circa. 70 MW Thermal Power Station in the Great Southern region of WA and a waste water re treatment projects associated with supplying water for open cycle cooling.

Stuart’s professional affiliations include Royal Australia Chemical Institute, Waste Water Association of WA and Association of Professional Engineers Scientists and Managers.

In addition to a Science degree, Stuart holds a Grad Diploma in Business and Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

He is also a Lecturer in Management and Supervision to Tertiary Students and Lecturer in Chemistry and other scientific and technical subjects.
